Rusty Glow Designs offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions,policiesand notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing from us, you are engaging in our ‘Service’ and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, otherwise known as ‘Terms of Service’. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers or merchants.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing the website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service. Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page.
We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Orders and cancellations
Due to the nature of our custom work, a 10% non-refundable deposit is required for custom work. After receiving your deposit for custom work, we will check the finer details of the design with you and get your approval prior to making your item/s.
Orders are considered to be final once we accept them – we reserve the right to cancel or adjust quantities – of course, we will be in touch before proceeding.
We will contact you if we are out of stock, if there is a longer lead time on your order, or there is a delay in receiving materials to make your order. (we hate waiting too!)
We will work with your text exactly as you send it through to us – please double-check your spelling and grammar closely before sending it to us. However, if we have a concern, we will check with you before going ahead with engraving etc. Proofs of fonts/spelling will be sent for items valued above $50 and won’t be engraved until we have your approval in writing, however we want everyone to be happy and can send proofs for items under $50 at your request.
Once production starts, you are liable for the full cost of the item as quoted.
For timber items it is imperative that you are aware that timber has variations in grain and colour and may have splits, colour variations, or other marks. Timber will age gracefully including possible slight splitting etc. Engraving may also appear uneven on some timbers due to the above. You will always have a piece of work that is unique!
Production times
Please try to order well before you need your items – we don’t spend every day in production and materials may need to be sourced to complete your order.
If your order is urgent, please reach out and we shall do our best – we will be honest and let you know if it isn’t possible though.
We won’t be held liable to missed deadlines or delays that are out of our control such as courier delays, machine break-downs etc. But let’s be honest – these would devastate us so we will do everything possible to ensure you receive your order on time, including sourcing your item from another supplier if necessary.
We endeavour to get Retail Ready items shipped the next business day after you complete your order, but it may be within the next 2 business days. Our business is located out of town and we don’t head into town every day.
Custom orders – most will be completed within 5-7 days, however please allow up to 21 days, particularly for items that are more complex or require proofing. Some items need a day or so in between each step to allow them to cure etc. If we are going to be longer with your order, we will let you know and work out a plan.
