Wood

Our wooden pieces are where the character really shines through.

We use a mix of Australian hardwoods and quality plywoods, often locally sourced when available. Every board has its own unique grain and tone, making each piece truly one of a kind.

As timber availability can vary, specific wood types may change from time to time. If you have a particular timber in mind, please feel free to get in touch before placing your order and we’ll let you know what we currently have on hand or are able to source.

Acrylic - Pastels

Pastel acrylics have a softer, more muted finish that can look a little different in various lighting or against different backgrounds. Gentle colour shifts between batches are normal. If you’d like extra photos to compare a pastel shade in different light, we’re happy to provide them.

Acrylic - Frosted

Frosted and translucent acrylics interact beautifully with light, which means their appearance can change depending on how and where they’re displayed. Subtle variations in tone and opacity can occur between batches. Please get in touch if you’d like additional images of a colour in different lighting.

Acrylic - Glitter

Glitter acrylics catch and reflect light in unique ways, so they can look slightly different in person compared to on screen, and from one batch to another. If you’d like to see more close ups or photos in different lighting before you decide, we’re more than happy to share them.

Acrylic - Metalic

Colours may vary slightly depending on screen type, lighting and acrylic batches. Minor variations in colour are a normal part of the material and not considered faults. If you’d like more photos of a shade in different lighting to confirm your choice, please get in touch with us before ordering.

Metallic acrylics have a soft shimmer that can look a little different depending on the angle and lighting. This means the depth and warmth of the colour may vary slightly from piece to piece.

Acrylic - Mirror

Colours may vary slightly depending on screen type, lighting and acrylic batches. Minor variations in colour are a normal part of the material and not considered faults.

*Mirrored acrylics are highly reflective, which means they can be challenging to photograph with their true shine and depth. The way they appear can vary depending on lighting, surroundings and viewing angle.

FAQ

Here you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions we get about our materials and finishes. If you’re still unsure or need help choosing the right option for your design, just get in touch - we’re happy to guide you before you order.

We work with a carefully selected range of high quality timbers and acrylics, including camphor laurel, bamboo, maple, and a mix of coloured, mirror, and frosted acrylics. Whenever possible, we use locally sourced timber from within our region, supporting local suppliers and keeping our materials as sustainable as we can.

Each piece of wood is unique, with its own grain, texture, and colour variation - that’s part of what makes every design one of a kind.

If you’re unsure which finish suits your project, just get in touch before ordering. We can recommend materials based on where the piece will be displayed (indoor or outdoor) and the look you’re after. For large or custom projects, we can also send photos of the current materials we have on hand.

We do our best to photograph each material accurately, but colours can appear slightly different on screen depending on your device, lighting, and the timber’s natural tone. Acrylics are more consistent, while wood will always have natural variations in pattern and depth.

If a certain timber or acrylic colour isn’t available, we’ll contact you before starting your order to discuss the best alternative. We keep popular materials in stock, but some specialty timbers or colours may need extra time to source.

Absolutely. If you have something specific in mind like a different timber species or a custom acrylic colour, let us know. We’ll do our best to source it or suggest the closest match available.
